Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the only charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Approximately 7,400 people suffer a Stroke each year in Wales. In May, Cardiff and Vale's Stroke Service and our patients (along with family and friends) are attempting to run and cycle a total of 7,400 miles while trying to raise £7,400 for the Stroke Association. #1stroke1mile1poundPlease help us by joining the 1stroke1mile1pound group on strava to help us reach our target. Spread the word with #1stroke1mile1pound and raise as much as you can.

I want to help patients and families who feel the effects a stroke can have. This year has been especially hard for all of them and the support they need is even bigger. With my mum, I am going to raise awareness of the good job the stroke Association do and hopefully raise some money to make a difference. I am hoping that all of my friends and people who know me will help keep me pedalling for a very important charity that any us might one day need. Thank you so much for your kindness sponsoring me.
