Story
Our son/brother is Autistic and we are all very passionate about Autism and along with many difficulties he finds going out to places a challenge and SNAP is one of his favourite places that he feels comfortable to go.
But at such sad times in the world right now we are unable to go there and as they have given us so much support we would like to support them by raising money by doing the 2.6 challenge
We as a family have decided to give up all screen time/technology for 26hours on 26th April
This may sound easy, but trust me with a teenager Daughter who loves 'selfies' a Dad who's glued to his phone and 2 Little Boy's who love watching 'steve and maggie' (on repeat) and a Mum who enjoys TV soaps this will be a real challenge for us as a house especially during Lockdown. But nowhere near as hard as challenges are for people with autism
Wish us luck xx
Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
