The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

An awesome group of 40 are going to run, jog and walk 2.6 miles (or multiples up to 13 miles!) for the UK Sepsis Trust on Sunday 26 April when the London Marathon would have been held.

We're dedicating this day's exercise (within the coronavirus rules of course) to the UK Sepsis Trust which does amazing work with survivors of sepsis and their families, in addition to also improving patient care to prevent sepsis in the first place. You might well know someone who has had sepsis – 245,000 people are affected by it every year in the UK.

Our team is the whole spectrum of levels of fitness, with a single aim of achieving the London Marathon many times over by working together as a team.

So far we're aiming for almost NINE London Marathon's between us
!! More than 230 MILES and counting!

Our feet will hurt and our legs will ache, so we’d love your support with a donation to the UK Sepsis Trust.

If we could raise £1,000 we could pay for staff training, education and awareness resources for a whole hospital or 5 regional support groups for sepsis survivors.

The team includes Zoe F, Vic F, Sarah O, Sarah H, Reiss T, Rankey B, Nsiem A, Nicole R, Lucy B, Lisa W, Julia B, Gail S, Freya C, Eve D, Doug H, Donna H, David E, Claraine W, Claire P, Chris F, Chris L-S, Anna D, Ann H, Alex H, Natalie S, Chris W, Alice K, Sam S, Katie D, Louise S-G, Nathan Y, Rhiannon H, Faye R, Peter H, Libby H, Jon C, David A, Stuart E.

Along with Sam, Larry and Oliver at the UK Sepsis Trust. Plus a few dogs!
