In light of the current worrying situation... we want to to create Nottingham’s biggest virtual exercise event to support the heroic staff of Nottingham University Hospitals, who are putting their own lives at risk by continuing the fight against Covid-19. 

We plan to use our daily exercise allowance - your choice of activity - to support and make a minimum donation of £5 to the charity. Completed at your convenience, we are not offering medals or goodies... it’s not us that need them at this time. We just want to make a contribution to show appreciation for all their amazing work! 

That said, we are giving you the unique opportunity to design your own event day t-shirt, in which you can demonstrate your personal support for the NHS. Be as creative as you like, don’t forget lots of hearts and rainbows! Go on... find that old cotton t-shirt you can draw all over. It will give extra purpose to your efforts.

We want you to join the events Facebook group and to post up your t-shirts and activities, make it a wall of fun and kindness. In return for your participation, DOrunning will send all that take part a completion certificate. We also plan to create a mass get together on The Victoria Embankment when the situation subsides. Where we can wear our homemade t-shirts and have a brilliant team photo! Continuing our support in much happier times.

Open to absolutely all, this is a truly unique opportunity to work together but at safe distance to provide much needed funds at this difficult time. Let’s get 1000 people from across the world's best city to take part... if we can, NUH Charity will receive £5000, 100% of everything donated! 

DOrunning is a Community Interest Company which puts the community first by supporting local good causes and worthy charities. We started our work before the current crisis set in and will continue when it’s over... but for now we invite to you all to be a part of something extremely special.
