On 20th July 2016 Ben was diagnosed with advanced Stage 4 Cancer.
2 days after this devastating news St Barnabas Hospice became home for me and Ben.
They provided Ben with the most amazing care whilst he fought bravely.
St Barnabas cared for us both as we tried to process everything and spend precious time together.
Ben sadly passed away on 14th August 2016, just 3 weeks after his diagnosis and a month before his 40th Birthday.

Firstly thank you to everyone who has donated and continues to do so.
I have been so overwhelmed by how generous all of our friends, family, colleagues and even friends of friends have been.
It just shows how loved Ben is.

Ben's wish was to give back to the hospice, so it is my mission to do it for him.
So with that in mind I have signed up to do something so far out of my comfort zone it's untrue.
In October 2018 I will be completing a 67km trek in India through the foothills of the Himalayas. This will be 5 days of walking 7-8hours a day and camping at night. For those who know me....I can see your shocked faces and hear your gasps from here!

St Barnabas specify that I need to raise a minimum of £2,800 and that includes the cost of my trip! I want to raise as much money for the hospice as possible, so I will be paying my trip costs! But I still want to raise at least £3,000. So any donations that are now added to the page will go towards my trek total, this is really no different to before as all the money goes directly to St Barnabas.

Thank you all for your continued love for Ben, me and our families.
Your support has been amazing.

Ben, My Gorgeous Boy.....I miss you and love you beyond words. I will do all I can to give back for the precious time and care St Barnabas gave us together 💙
