Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This all came about when a fifth year student - Gracie - shared an idea that she had with one of her teachers. Gracie explained that she, her siblings, her classmates and her friends were missing their sports and activities and the contact that they had with each other during the pandemic restrictions. She wanted to use her time and energy constructively so that she could bring her school community together in an active way that might benefit others.

Gracie also explained that she felt sad that there were young people like her, trying to get through school every day, but who didn't have a place to call home.

Gracie and her teacher talked through her ideas, enlisted the help of the Whole School Support Team and hey presto, we're ready to go!! We urge all members of our school community including students, staff, their families/relations/friends/etc. to get on board and take part in this worthwhile challenge. Not only will we all get out and about (within 5Km restriction) to exercise and breathe in fresh air, but we will be raising much needed funds for those who are less fortunate than us!
