Outer Hebrides Sub 72 · 3 August 2008
In total this involved over 250 miles of cycling, in excess of 20 miles kayaking in some of the most challenging tidal waters around the UK and travelling approximately 30 miles on foot with an estimated ascent of around 4000 metres. We managed to complete this in 57 hours 10 minutes which was well within our estimated time of 60 hours.

But we're not stopping there. Every 48 hours, 10 children are diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia in the UK. CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity, is a national charity committed to providing care, every step of the way to children and young people diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia. Visit CLIC Sargent for more information. Our page will remain open well after we've finished our journey in the Hebrides but we'll be doing other stuff over the next year culminating in a (hopefully) top 3 finish on the Firefighter's Three Peaks Challenge in June 2010.
Financially we've also had a few donations offline to add to the fantstic support we've had from our logistical sponsors:
Saltire Driver Training
Gordon Morrison
Shell UK
Aviagen
Calor
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CLIC Sargent gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor us now!
