Adventures of Ouzo and Roo

Ouzo and Roo’s Hike for Hounds 2020 Challenge · 1 October 2020 ·
Both Ouzo and Roo were rescued. Ouzo was a small abandoned puppy on the back streets of a mountain village in Eastern Europe when we found him wondering the streets scared and all alone. Roo was rescued by the RSPCA along with her sisters from a home were they were badly neglected.
Both Ouzo and Roo were very fortunate to have found a loving home were they are treasured and loved. However, not all dogs are as lucky, but at the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre the animals welfare comes first and they work hard to try and make all the animals in their care healthy and happy, ready to rehome again. Of course all of this takes time and money.
RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre is an independent charity, therefore all the funds to run the centre have to be raised by the centre.
So myself, Zoe, Ouzo and Roo will be putting in the miles over the month of October of a minimum 5km a day to try and raise funds for all the animals that come through the centre, so they have the opportunity to be loved and cherished too.
I will try my best to log our walks with Strava so you can track them here as well as putting up a daily picture.
