David Allan's 'Over the hill' mountain challenge · 16 February 2004

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 11th, 13th and 14th of June, at the ripe old age of 60, I rode three legendary Tour de France mountains - Mont Ventoux, L'Alpe d'Huez and Le Col du Galibier - a total of 13,100 feet (or 2.5 miles) skyward, in aid of Cancer Research UK.

PLEASE BE EQUALLY RECKLESS in your support for this vital charity. If you're a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third under the Gift Aid scheme at no cost to you.

On behalf of Cancer Research UK, very many thanks for your support.
