Story

Owen and Florence were born at 28 weeks on the 27th July 2012 on the evening of the Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Watford SCBU who provided their worth with their expertise and providing life saving interventions pulled us through the hardest challenge of our lives. The staff are amazingly professional and efficient and we felt our beautiful Babies were in save hands.

Unfortunately Watford SCBU is not fully funded by the NHS and needs valuable funds to keep and expand the service. We have first hand experience in how donations can make a huge difference as both Owen and Florence used equipment which had been brought through donations.

We had always talked while in SCBU about "giving something back" and thought Owen's & Florence's 1st Birthday was the perfect opportunity to Celebrate how far the twins have come since birth weighing only 2.5lbs and 2.8lbs till now. We will forever be thankful for Watford SCBU for giving our Twins the best fighting start.

We hope you join us in our "Thank You" by donating, however big or small as sometimes the word "Thank You" just doesn't seem enough.
