RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims. We provide practical and emotional support to victims through a helpline, befriender network, and information guides on the legal procedures that follow a crash. RoadPeace also campaigns for justice for victims and road danger reduction policies that champion the needs of vulnerable road users. RoadPeace won the Guardian Charity Award winners in 2008. Help us make the world a safer and fairer place.

Story

I am taking part in the Team Townend Pushbike Challenge 2012 in memory of brothers Christian and Niggy Townend who were tragically killed whilst out cycling together in December 2010

All money raised is being donated to the Road Peace charity. Road Peace provides both support for existing victims and work to prevent future victims by campaigning for road danger reduction. They are the only member based charity for road crash victims in the UK.

The event starts from Loweswater Village Hall, with routes of 22 miles and 40 miles, taking in a number of passes in the Lake District, including Whinlatter, Newlands and Honister.
