Having never run properly in my adult life (excluding running for buses!), I am going to attempt to run non-stop for 13.1 miles on the 29th September. I am far from being a natural athlete and I hate running! But I have been dragging myself out on runs on a semi-frequent basis for the last few months........ so................please make my pain worthwhile and make a contribution to a good cause.

I have chosen to run in aid of Cancer Research. This is the charity that Nina chose to run for in the Race for Life which she took part in having being diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2009 (her page can still be viewed: www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/ninadouglas). In the 3 years that Nina lived with cancer, her courage and good humour never abated.
