Our team of Old Warden Wanderers are taking part in the Beds. & Herts. Bike 'n Hike to raise money for the Trust but also, importantly, for St. Leonard's Church, Old Warden.  £250,000 is needed to restore and conserve this ancient church and make its historical treasures safe for generations to come.

There are two nationally important treasures - the Anne of Cleves carved panels from the 1540's and the medieval Abbey window from c1370, the only one in the country depicting an Abbot.  (See the gallery of photos.)

We will be cycling round north-east Bedfordshire, visiting 18 churches and covering some 30 miles.
