What started as a way of shedding some kilos after a year spent stateside has now turned into a real passion. What better way to continue my new-found joys of exercise than by running a half-marathon for an amazing charity! I'm sure the RFD team will have my back through all 13.1 miles.

The Grange is a local charity in Great Bookham. It is a residential and day centre for adults with learning disabilities. They are raising funds to build an Outdoor Learning and Community Centre, that they are hoping to start building in 2024. This will have a large cafe, shop and pottery open to the general public. Not only will this enhance the local area but, at the same time it will give work experience and employable opportunities to people with learning disabilities, and expand the skills training The Grange are able to offer.
