England to New Zealand in a 1954 Morris Oxford
"Oxford2Oxford is not only a great challenge and a very silly adventure, Jo and Tim are also raising funds for a worthwhile cause which I encourage you to support. I wish them happy travels and the best of luck."
Michael Palin
Departing May 2004, we, Tim Nicholson and Joanne Bowlt, drove from Oxford, England, to Oxford, New Zealand in a 1954 Morris Oxford.
We left our jobs, let our flats, sold our modern cars and put our belongings into storage in order to undertake this challenging adventure. This Oxford odyssey is self-funded so all money donated will directly support the work of the Red Cross in the UK and overseas. We have visited the Red Cross and Red Crescent in all of the countries through which we have travelled and have witnessed some of the fantastic work carried out mainly by volunteers.
Please help us to raise funds for the British Red Cross online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: British Red Cross will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support. If you would like to find out more please see www.oxford2oxford.co.uk
