Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity believes no child should face hospital alone. Every day, 500 seriously ill children face a life-changing hospital visit. Children tell us it can be frightening. Parents say they're sick with worry. We want to change this. With your support, we can. Are you in?

Story

Hi!

I'm taking part in a 24 hour (minimum!) gaming marathon for charity on the 13th-14th of October, starting 10am on the Saturday, as part of Sick Kids Save Point. The cause is an excellent one, raising money for the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh, Scotland. A small donation might buy a scared young child a toy, or go towards the costs of vital medical facilities. My theme will primarily be Scottish games, from the GTA series to Minecraft (360) and even games made by people in their spare time!

On top of this I've already done something a little extra. I spent the weekend of the 30th/31st September making games based on the ideas of people donating! In total I created 5 small playable games during a period of around 50 hours, half of which was non-stop. All games can be downloaded from my site for free! Additionally all money earnt in 2012 from my games, from my early releases to the latest games Invertical and X-Orbtek, will be donated to this page. For no more than £1.50 you can pick up a game whilst helping raise money for charity!

You can read all about my games dev for charity, including download & store links on my site.

I'll update this page with more details in due time and posting details on Twitter (@OxygenAddictUK)

Cheers,

Richard
