Eight Hours Don't Make A Day · 30 April 2017

Switchback is an award-winning charity helping young Londoners to find a way out of the justice system. We provide intensive 1-to-1 support either side of the prison gate alongside real-work training after release, supporting 18-30 year-old men to make real-lasting change and build stable lives.

Story

On Sunday 30th April the BFI are screening Rainer Werner Fassbinder's TV series Eight Hours Don't Make A Day. It will last in total for 9.5 hours. I'll be giving up almost half a day of my life for this masterpiece of New German Cinema.

To help motivate me to make it to the end I'm asking you to donate whatever you can spare to a great charity - Switchback - that works with people to help them into regular work after time in prison, some of them in London cinemas. It's a charity that makes a real difference to people's lives.
