Only 1-3 Children who need hospice care get it!!!!
Why? Funding! Only 25% comes from the NHS!
We have been involved with many digital strategies for charities, but today I have been to launch the new site for an event. Following the passing of a friends wife six months ago, during the Gloucester game we decided that we would do something to raise money for the Hospice, that did so much for them.
This Hospice is also a children's hospice, I have to say, I have never been so quiet when I learned what they do for the children and family. But the problem being, they only get 25% of the money they need from the NHS. This has to play a part in the fact that only one in every three child who needs the care of a hospice receives it.. cry emoticon
What they do for people cannot be put into words.. Please help me try and make this available to many more.
