I was asked by my dear friend Thea to join her team of eight women to take on an extreme challenge. On September 21st and 22nd 2019 we will be trekking approximately 28 miles in the Lake District, to the summit of 24 incredible peaks! There will be 12,500ft of ascent, which is equivalent to trekking up Mount Snowdon four times!  

Why are we doing this challenge? Thea's daughter,  Lottie was diagnosed with a very rare type of tumour called a lipoblastoma when she was only 16 months old.  Thanks to the amazing team at GOSH, Lottie was successfully treated and is now a healthy and happy five year old girl. 

We will be trekking to say a huge thank you to GOSH and to support Thea in giving back to a charity that helped her family through such a difficult time.
