We're delighted to be supporting local charity, Friends of the Cancer Centre. This year we'll be taking part in lots of different fundraising and awareness raising activities and we really appreciate your support ! We've already taken part in the Belfast City Marathon and were really pleased to have raised £911 sponsorship from this event alone. Did you know that £911 could provide 36 people, with an hour of nursing care from a Friends of the Cancer Centre clinical nurse specialist? Our next big challenge is the Slieve Donard Challenge on Saturday 7th September. We're breaking in our boots and starting training for this over the summer and of course, your support for this would be very much appreciated too. Every £10 we raise, could provide a welcoming cuppa for 43 people attending Bridgewater Suite in the Cancer Centre in Belfast, for treatment. Hundreds of patients and their friends go there every day, so please help us make a difference to even more patients and their families.
