Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In August 2010, I am doing the National 3 Peak 24hr challenge as a way of helping the "Fight For Sight" Charity.
I am a Night Manager for Parcelpoint Ltd in Bristol and I am doing this challenge with Robin Beard who is the Bristol Night Hub Manager of Parcelpoint Ltd and Wendy Mansell HR Director of Amazon UK and Ireland.
What is the National 3 Peak 24hr Challenge?
It involves climbing the highest Mountains in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24 hrs including driving 450 miles. The plan is to start at Ben Nevis in Scotland and climb the 1344m (4409ft) to the top, we then return to our mini-bus for the trip to the Lake District to climb England's highest mountain, Scafell Pike 978m (3209ft). After Scafell Pike we travel to North Wales and climb Snowdon 1085m (3560ft) then on our return have a nice long rest (I will be 48) !
Total Height of the three mountains is 3407m or for us older folk 11178ft.
