Beat the Superbugs!

Fundraising for British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy
£850
raised of £1,000 target
Stop Superbugs is a global health initiative from the British Society for Antimicrobial Chemotherapy (BSAC). Your donations help us to help community projects around the world.

Story

Superbugs kill more than 1.5 million people around the world every year and leave millions more unwell. But the good news is, we can stop them! Our team at Page medical are rising to the challenge and attempting to raise £1k for Stop Superbug's 'School-in-a-Box' partner project in Tanzania.

Any funds raised will help to provide vital equipment to schools across the Dodoma Region of Tanzania and set up AMR (Antimicrobial Resistance) school clubs to teach the importance of antimicrobial resistance and the risk of superbugs. For £1000, we can provide a school in Tanzania with a laptop, projector, printer and much needed stationery, which will educate hundreds of children in a fun and creative way.

A donation to Stop Superbugs, no matter the size, helps make a real difference to communities around the world while reducing the global threat of superbugs.

So what are we doing? Over ten days in April, we will be undertaking 18 unique challenges representing the 18 identified superbugs.

Follow our journey as we beat the 18 superbug challenges. We will be posting updates on our JustGiving page and on our website at https://pagemedical.co.uk/fundraising/beating-superbugs/ so keep posted!
