Every year, Princess Alice Hospice holds an annual Light up a Life service that allows families and friends to share memories and make dedications to their loved ones.

How does Light up a life help Princess Alice Hospice?

Princess Alice Hospice is here to provide free, holistic palliative care for patients with advanced illness and those approaching the end of lives. We aim to enable all patients to have the best possible quality of life to the end, responding quickly to their needs and wishes. We recognise that family, carers and close friends have needs of their own and we are here to provide them with support, comfort and advice at any stage of their illness and after death.

The Hospice provides all its care free of charge to more than 2,600 patients and their families every year. It costs over £8 million to provide this care and we rely on our local community to generate over 75% of our income.
