Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I know you might be asked to donate to people a lot! But this can really maake a big difference, even the slightest amount!
I am doing the great manchester run in aid of my brother who was 25 and sadly took his own life in September 2012. Ross was an inspiration, had hundreds of friends and was known to be the life of a party. He was always smiling, dancing, laughing, working hard and never allowed anyone to feel down, unfortunatley stress and anxiety became too much. As Mental health acts as a silent disease not many people take notice how bad it actually is, the people who suffer see that they have nobody to talk to when really they have thousands! Anxiety and Stress may seem a little thing but it isnt.
Ross was my big brother, my best friend, my rock and an inspiration to loads of people.
I am doing my best to try and raise as much money for MIND, a charity that works constantly with anybody that seeks any kind of help! Mental health is very serious and should be noticed a lot more.. it has recently been raised on tv on 'Change For Life'.
Britain has the highest rate of suicide, mostly in men.. this is because men generally find it harder to talk to someone about an issue.
Nobody should ever feel the need to take their own life, although they may feel that there is nothing left for them, somebody to talk too and help them can overcome how they are feeling can make the biggest difference.
I see this as one of the only things left that i can do for my big brother, other than carry his memory in my heart with me and explore the world like he would have wanted.
