Hi everyone, I’m very excited to participate in the tower superhero abseil 2022!!🤩
I will be abseiling 190ft down Belfast city tower block on Sunday 29th may to support local families affected by cancer, and in memory of my granda Eamon cooper.
In October 2016 My granda was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, it was incredibly hard to watch someone I loved so much go through this.
During the 18 months that followed granda was looked after by an incredible team in haematology at the city hospital but sadly he passed away Easter 2018 in the cancer centre Belfast.
The support my granda received from the charity was amazing they couldn’t of done enough for him or us as a family.
I want to do this in his memory. All money raised will go to friends of the cancer centre,for every £25.00 raised the charity could provide one hour of enhanced nursing care from there team of specialist nurses.
