The DST Supports and funds an intense 9 month traveling scholarship, provided by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. Coronavirus has caused the cancellation of the 2020 scheme for the first time in over 60 years, with a weeks notice. This had left this years excited Scholars in a dire situation having relinquished their employment and accommodation in order to begin the unique educational experience; one that will help them to protect and repair historic buildings for years to come, for many future generations. We hope to raise the funds that will offer certainty that they are able to undertake this scholarship in 2021 and see through the year up until then.
