Story
Millions of children in Pakistan do not have access to a library. In 2010 Relief International delivered books to over 300 schools, in 2011 we want to create a further 400 libraries.
Each library costs just £250 to install and includes 200 books, 20 wall charts and training for school staff. Just £1.25 will help us to put a book into the hands of a child or teacher.
By donating to this project you will be helping children to read, count, develop basic skills and learn about the the world.
Books in the libraries are carefully selected with partner organisations and experts including the Ministry of Education, the Directorate General of Public Libraries of Pakistan and schools.
You can read more details about the programme here. We at Relief International hope that you chose to support us with this important work.
Thank you.
