Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

At the start of this year, I was at the beginning of a "Couch to 5k" training programme. I was committed to doing it at the time but I never really thought I would be able to consider running a Half Marathon so soon. My target was just to get to running 5k non-stop in around 30 minutes.

My Wife and I have continued the training after this programme and have twice run for just over 8 miles. This is currently as far as I think I can run but have now gone and challenged myself to do a Half Marathon in Palma (Majorca) in October this year.

While I am doing this for personal health reasons, I would like to continue to raise some money and awareness on behalf of The Pituitary Foundation. So onto the challenge - as I have not yet run further than 8.x miles, I cannot give any indication of what time I am likely to acheive. I can however share that my target is to complete it in under 2 hours. If you donate some money on this page, guess the time you think I will not beat.
