Peru - Inca Trail Trek · 23 September 2006 to 3 October 2006 ·

We believe that all pets should have access to veterinary care – regardless of their owners’ financial situation. Over 100 years, we’ve helped more than 20 million sick and injured pets – providing life-saving vet care to more vulnerable pets than any other animal charity in the UK today.

Story

We are three women taking on the challenge of the 10 day Inca Trail Trek in September 2006.

In order to raise the funds required we are organising a variety of events i.e. car boots, raffles, beer & skittle nights etc.  However, due to the time constraints (we all work full time) and the large amounts of funds required, we are asking for sponsorship/donations.

The PDSA Challenge Trek starts in the Cusco Valley with an acclimatisation walk for 5 hours to prepare us for the steep trails, which climb to 4,200 metres, through diverse mountainous country, camping outside each night in zero temperature.  Over the following days we climb for up to 12 hours a day through areas such as Dead Women's Pass, (we hope we don't join them!) and Machu Pichu taking in the ancient sacred ruins of the Inca's.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: PDSA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support Wendy Palmer, Jackie Palmer, and Marie Campion
