Flora London Marathon 2003 · 13 April 2003 ·

The Middlesex Association for the Blind aims to support people who are blind, partially sighted and deaf/ blind, to lead independent lives. The Association achieves this through the local provision and delivery of a range of high quality services, advice, information and training to people across nine London Boroughs.

Story

I shall be running this years London Marathon on April 13th for a local charity for which I am a volunteer - Middlesex Association for the Blind based in South Harrow, Middlesex. The MAB is a charity not linked to the RNIB.

All proceeds I raise will be used to purchase and run an IT training programme for blind and partially sighted people. The MAB teaches clients basic skills dependent on their needs which can range from touch typing to using the internet. This service is currently run at their office in Harrow but they would like to provide training in other boroughs.

Please sponsor me online.

It's the most efficient way for me to raise funds for my charity. If you are a UK taxpayer your donation will be increased by almost a third at no cost to you.

Both myself and my chosen charity really appreciate your donation. Any amount will make a difference but please try to give generously!

Many thanks.
