Pam's Birthday Marathon Row

Pam's Birthday Marathon Row · 14 November 2018
My beautiful friend Ellie has had the shittest of years fighting a very aggressive breast cancer. She has done amazingly, fighting every single day and I am in awe.
I have felt helpless. There is nothing I could say. Not much I could do from afar. A feeling I have had on many occasions in the last few years when too many of the people I know have suffered to the hands of this bastard of a disease.
The support I have already received for this challenge has been incredible and along with my own personal marathon we are now looking to collectively accumulate as many marathon rows as we can. CFID have very kindly given me use of their gym from 11am on the 19th January and 5 more of their rowers that I am looking to fill with people to row alongside me to help me get to the marathon. 15 minute time slots are up for sale at £20 each or if you would like a event t-shirt too its £25. If you would like to book one of these slots please message me (they are filling up fast) We need to know all the rowers by mid December so that we can organise things.
Everyone is welcome at the gym that day - in fact the more the merrier. There will be cakes and even if you are not rowing a good cheer on always helps.
I know that all donations not matter how small will make a difference to family's like Ellies.
Thank you
Pamela
