Our mum works at Emmaus Leeds which is a good charity that's helps people help themself.  We (Sophie/Jess/Ewan/Charlotte/Aimee) have decided to take part in the #BigMarathonMonth to support the work of Emmaus and will complete 26.2 miles in June!  We will do this with our mum and our dog Xena, we might walk/run/do laps at the park or even do a conga 🤣🤣.  Emmaus supports formerly homeless people by providing a home, and meaningful work in one of their social enterprises. This meaningful work helps restore the self-esteem that is often lost when a person becomes homeless.There are currently 29 communities across the UK supporting 816 formerly homeless people, known as companions. There are also four Emmaus groups working hard to set up an Emmaus community in their local area.Please donate as much as you can to my #BigMarathonMonth fundraiser and help me raise as much as I can for Emmaus!
