Panah has been a registered charity since 2009. Panah raises funds in support of children in need irrespective of race, ethnicity, nationality or gender. Panah is an NGO with no governmental funding or connection. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it has come to our attention that a larger number of children and parents lack access to smart devices and online education platforms than previously thought. The socioeconomic divide plays a huge part in their ability to afford such devices We feel as a charity that we are responsible for reaching out to these families to provide them with smartphones and laptops they would otherwise have no means of owning. This is essential to the participation of children in online education through applications such as Skype or Zoom, as they are not able to attend classes. We are currently putting all efforts towards fundraising for the purchase of new smartphones or laptops, or donation of refurbished secondhand devices. Every donation counts!
