Kim Craven is raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund
In memory of Robin Wilkie
Donations cannot currently be made to this page
Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is the only national charity dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This is the 6th year that we are organising this event along the Forth and Clyde and Union canals from Anniesland (Lock 27) to Ratho.  Last year we had said was going to be our final, but due to a cry from many who have enjoyed it in the past, we are running it again.  We are delighted, not only is it fun (and punishing for some) to do, it raises valuable funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund (www.pcrf.org,uk).

Some people take part for fitness, some for fun, and some in memory of loved ones who have sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer.  An impressive 52 mile stint along the canals, although flat, is enduring for many.  So, whatever their reason for taking part, we hugely appreciate your donation.

There is a homepage where you can read more about how pancanal started, and where registration forms can be downloaded. www.pancanal.co.uk.  For information, we have brought the cycle forward a month, to hopefully enjoy the better weather and avoid some punctures...!

And now for the Justgiving blurb....

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks from all the Pancanal cyclists.
