Story

I am making rather a leap into the unknown in 2021.....& part of that was to try something I've always wanted to do: Land's End to John O'Groats (aka "LEJoG").

It was intended to be a relaxed solo pedal from LE to Edinburgh, then meet up with pals who are completing their Edin-LoG leg....very much a "Gentle LEJoG", stop off to visit a few chums along the way.

COVID had other ideas, & Government timelines for releasing the hospitality sector pushed out my start date, which means the LE-Edin part will be rather quicker than I originally planned.   It's rapidly turning into a "Pressured Pandemic Pedal" - starting on 17th May heading down to Lands End, with an arrival in JoG on the 9th June.
Still, who needs rest days!

Taking in a route via Leicester for a day or two to rest, but also makes the adventure over 1,000miles!   I'll do some camping on the Leicester-Edinburgh leg, just to add some extra weight to my steed!

I greatly appreciate your support for HVMRT whilst I strain my aged body along....I know the work they do as volunteers is excellent (see picture for *ahem* actual scenes...)
