Lake District Triple Challenge UK · 15 July 2023

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homeless charity. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 16-25 year olds into a home and a job every year. Our award-winning helpline provides support to vulnerable young people across the country. We campaign to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Story

Paul and Pankaj will be taking part in the Lake District Triple Challenge UK organised by Barclays.

The challenge over one day involves ;

- Climbing to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston – 10km, 803m approx.

- Mountain biking through Grizedale Forest, one of the Lake District's most famous mountain biking areas, including the lung-pumping ascent of the hill into the forest – 12km

- Kayaking around Coniston Water – 1.5km – approx.

We will be raising money for the chosen charity Centrepoint. This charity provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment.

You can find out more about this great charity here:

We will be pushed to the limits to complete a course that sees us bike, hike and paddle with other Barclays colleagues across UK locations, on this triathlon-style charity fundraising challenge.
