Panoptics are supporting the fantastic work of Smile Train by competing in the Rock Solid Race in Milton Keynes on 29th October 2016.

Having been born with a cleft lip himself, Panoptics Managing Director, Mark Brookbanks, has long valued the amazing work of surgeons providing this life changing operation, so felt this was a great opportunity to raise funds for the close to his heart charity.

With millions of children in developing countries suffering from untreated clefts, most of whom cannot eat or speak properly and aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job, Smile Train is changing the world "one smile at a time".

Smile Train is an international children’s charity that provides 100%-free cleft repair surgery and comprehensive cleft care to children in 85+ developing countries. Their sustainable model empowers local doctors to provide cleft care in their own communities and as a result of this efficiency, Smile Train has performed more than one million surgeries since 1999. Every 5 minutes, a child receives their life-changing cleft repair surgery.
