Story

You may remember that 8 Paragon employees signed up to cycle Velo South last year to raise funds for an amazing local children’s charity called Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Unfortunately the 100 mile cycle ride through the West Sussex countryside was cancelled due to bad weather.

Undeterred Team Paragon have put their heads together and come up with a route that not only exceeds the original distance but will also take two days to complete. Let it never be said we don’t like a challenge!

Paragon’s Velo France will take place in early July. Day One will start in Calais and cover approximately 50 miles en-route to Saint-Omer, and Day Two will see the team ride approximately more than 100 miles from Saint-Omer to Dieppe.

All funds kindly contributed to Team Paragon’s Velo South fundraising efforts last year were donated to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Once again all funds raised will go to helping Shooting Star with the support they provide to families across Surrey and London with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.

Any amount you are able to donate would be appreciated - £20 pays for meals for a family staying at one of Shooting Star’s hospices for a day, and £100 could pay for a child to benefit from a one-to-one music therapy session.

Thank you for your support.
