Thanks for taking the time to visit the Pareto Prostate Cancer UK JustGiving page.

A team of Pareto-ees will be undertaking an intense 10K, 50-obstacle course as part of Men's Health Survival of the Fittest (www.mhsurvival.co.uk) on 7th November, running this year in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

We are doing this in support of one of our own: a Pareto-ee whose family has been affected by Prostate Cancer.  

A few stats to explain why we're doing this:

• Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK
• Prostate cancer is the second most common cause of cancer death in UK men, after lung cancer 
• Prostate cancer accounts for a quarter of all new cancer cases in men in the UK.
• 41,700+ men were diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013, that's more than 110 every day. 

This is truly great cause and we’d like to do all we can to raise both awareness and funds towards finding a cure.
