Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

By the time we realized that the 10 to 4 was not a new bar we had already found ourselves signed up to take part in this pioneering mountain bike challenge, an exhilarating downhill mountain bike race on the slopes of Mount Kenya.

On Saturday February 20th we start at 10,000 feet and 0˚C and hopefully finish a few hours, or days later, at 4,000 feet and 40˚C. The route passes through a magnificent range of terrain and land use and takes us through unbelievable scenery, wildlife habitat and forest areas which the Mount Kenya Trust is helping to protect. The money raised is helping to conserve one of Kenya's biggest lifelines and is directly contributing to communities in the area.

This is a unique opportunity to help raise funds to save a mountain in need whilst taking on the major challenge of riding from altitude with the stupidity of no training.
