Paris to Peterborough 2019 · 29 August 2019
Carl Barnes, Matthew Dilley, Alex Garner and myself will be riding from Paris to Peterborough on the 29th August 2019 to raise money for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our just giving page.
7 years ago my sister went into premature labour. My niece Tallulah was born 9 weeks early. She was in neonatal intensive care for 12 weeks. It was noticed early on that she was not developing as expected and after investigations she was diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Prader-Willi syndrome is a rare genetic condition that affects approx 1 in 100,000. It causes a wide range of physical symptoms, learning difficulties, behavioural problems and developmental delay. My sister has received support and advice from the PWSA charity who rely solely on donations to fund their work. It would be great to be able to give something back and raise the profile of this worthwhile charity. Myself and 3 friends have decided to do a sponsored cycle ride from Paris to Peterborough. Although we are all keen cyclists, this ride, over 3 days, will be physically and mentally challenging. We are funding the expenses ourselves so that all sponsorship will go to PWSA. Please give what you can.
Thanks,
