Story

HELLO LOVELY PEOPLE

It seems to be that time of year when our intrepid team of wanderers take to the wilderness once again for this year’s Parkeray challenge.

On Friday 12 October our 14 seasoned challengers will land in Cowes on the Isle of Wight to get settled and prepared to start the 71.5 mile hike around the Island.   The challenge is that we are going to achieve this in 3 days rather than the 5 days recommended.  Believe me, the coastal path is not as flat as you may think, the team will be rambling over hills, through forests and will be taking on the constant prevailing winds on the South of the Island.

This year our chosen charity is going to be the St Helier Association of Kidney Patients, in memory of our good friend and colleague Kevin Webbe.

Please dig deep to support this wonderful cause and naturally our super team who really should know better by now.....especially Frank, who will no doubt be doing it in his site boots once again!!!!!

Keep in touch with us on this page to see our training progress and to see if we get close to our target.

Thank you so much for your continued support; we know in these tough times it is a challenge in itself, but needed more now than ever and is very much appreciated.

Love and kisses the Parkeray Challenge team 2012 xx
