Parkgate House School is having an Australia Day event to raise much needed funds to help Australian Wildlife in the aftermath of the horrendous bushfires.

A staggering 1 billion animals are now estimated to have died in the recent fires. The number of kangaroos, koalas and endangered animals that have perished continues to rise.  Zoos Victoria is taking a responsive role to care for injured animals. Money raised will fund emergency veterinary care and scientific intervention, such as exploring supplementary feeding for the animals who have survived, but whose habitats have been destroyed by the bushfire.
