PARKINride

In July 2014 Brora brothers Richard and Danny Parkin will complete an end-to-end charity cycle with a difference. Raising funds for the Macmillan Cancer Suite at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, the pair plan to cycle from John O'Groats to Land's End - and back: a total of over 2000 miles!

Richard and Danny are aiming to complete the end-to-end-to-end cycle in 18 days and will be travelling unassisted for the duration of the ride, in support of the Macmillan Cancer Suite, where their mother, Lindsey, received treatment for five years until her death in 2014. The family have been so grateful to the kind staff and volunteers of the Macmillan Suite that the boys felt compelled to raise money for the Raigmore unit in thanks for the treatment their mother received there.

Richard is 28 and works as a guide at Dunrobin Castle and Danny is 26 and is a French teacher at Dornoch Academy.
