This is a page for outdoorsy type people to pass on their old gear, or MYOG prototypes, and donate the sale price to Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

If, for example, you are offering your stuff on an internet forum, just ask the buyer to make the donation here for the agreed value of the goods,  instead of paying you. 

The donation should appear on this page, or the buyer can send a screen shot of the receipt to the seller.  

Postage costs can either be covered by the buyer, or seller – the expectation regarding this can be stated, or negotiated prior to the deal being sealed.

We would hope that, people will be generous in how much they offer to pay for items, particularly since this is a fundraising effort!  

Sellers could, therefore ask for best offers, particularly with regards to higher value items.

Remember - you can sell anything, so long as its legal. 

Perhaps make bundles of things that seem too low value to sell as individual items.  – But people will now pay a fortune for them because it’s for Mountain Rescue. Sell your MYOG. Sell your unwanted Christmas presents.  Sell your Valentine gifts.  Even sell your soul – if you have one …

The money goes directly to the Mountain Rescue from this Just Giving Page.  The individual who has set up this page has no access to the funds.
