Treloar’s is a charity that provides an outstanding specialist school and college for physically disabled children and young people, helping them to be as independent as possible.

Story

WE DID IT!

We walked the 250 miles and pushed the heaviest pasty known to man to boot.  If you have been reluctant to sponsor us before now in case we didn't manage it now's the time to act.  If you thought you were a bit mean before, dig a bit deeper/

Steve and his friends David Kent, Dean Saunders, Steve Geary, Steve Allen, Andrew Shannon, Roger Moore, Alan Percival ,Eamonn Daly and Malcolm Bowen all worked hard to achieve the objective.

Just to remind youTreloar's are celebrating their 100th Birthday this year.

To complete the Treloar Centenary we walked from the family home of the founder of Treloar's, Lord William Purdie Treloar, arriving at the site of the current Treloar buildings 100 years to the day it opened.  This  meant leaving Helston, Cornwall on the 1st September and arriving in Alton, Hampshire on the 13th September.

The event is supported by Ginsters who made the pasty and supporting vehicle that we passed from town to town and county to county, uphill and down dale.
Please look at the website www.passthepasty.com.  This provides full details with regard to the Walk and provides a daily blog covering the whole of the Walk.  Each member of the team is to produce a personal record of their time on the trip so keep looking at the site.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Treloar Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
