Sadly last year one of the kindest, bravest, most selfless people left us.  Our dear mum Margaret passed away on the 21st December after being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer just 6 weeks before!!  She remained positive and strong till the end.  In true Margaret style she worried about others rather than herself throughout her illness. Even ensuring everything was in place for after her passing.

Mum inspired so many people and we would like to do something in honour of her memory.  So my sister Lisa and I will be taking part in a few fundraising events throughout the year.   We want to raise valuable funds for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund to contribute to the research they do into improving the survival rate and ultimately defeating the disease.

Pancreatic cancer has the lowest survival rate of all cancers - just 3% of those diagnosed survive for five years.  This rate has remained unchanged for the last 40 years.

So please dig deep and help raise valuable funds for an amazing cause in the memory of one amazing lady.
