We’re The Pituitary Foundation. We’re a dedicated team offering practical, emotional and peer support to everyone living with or impacted by a pituitary condition, to feel empowered and live with a greater sense of wellbeing.

Story

We are raising money for three charities and the money raised will be split equally between the three. Two guys, two cities by pedal, paddle and puff from Edinburgh Castle to the Eiffel Tower. Geordie Tulloch and Patch Russell, both students at Edinburgh University who share a love for sport and supporting the underdog, will be cycling 550 miles from Edinburgh to Dungeness, kayaking 22 miles across the Channel then running 5 marathons in 4 days all the way to Paris, determined to raise as much money as possible for 3 very important, but lower profile, charities:

Leuchie House: Providing desperately needed respite for people and their carers living with long-term conditions.

The Pituitary Foundation: Research and Support for those suffering the extreme difficulties of living with problems with their master gland.

Mental Health Research UK: Vital Research to help reduce the devastation of mental illness.

These three charities were chosen by us because they are very close to us in different ways. Thanks so much for all your help, it really is going to a good cause. We will keep you up to date with our adventure and whether Geordie manages to make it past Berwick.

Patch and Geordie.
