After 60 years of living, I really don’t need any more stuff — not flowers, wine, cakes or jewelry. What I do want is to ensure the immense contributions to history and culture by the Black community are recognised and celebrated. I am asking my friends, family, former colleagues and anyone else I may have helped or inspired in some way during my lifetime to make a donation to Black Cultural Archives 

If we don’t support important organisations like BCA, we risk having our stories hidden, untold, erased, marginalised or forgotten. BCA is dedicated to making sure this doesn’t happen. This is important for our children and their children.
