Event: London Bridges Challenge 2019, on 30 October 2019
On Sunday 29 September, conquer 12 iconic London Bridges. Take on this 10 mile challenge and get sponsored for every step of the way to help us reach a future where diabetes can do no harm.

Story

I have chosen this charity because diabetes has been close to home for many years. My nephew sadly became diabetic when he was only 2 years old. I didn’t understand the implications of this at first but now see the devastating impact this has on a growing number of people here in the UK and all around the world.

I wanted to try to support the Diabetes UK charity by doing something physical. I appreciate that walking the 10 London bridges is not quite as dramatic as climbing Mount Kenya or running the marathon or jumping out of a plane, but I’m hoping it will be a challenge for me, and will result in some generous donations to this worthy cause.

Thank you so much for your support, and joining with me on this endeavour. I look forward to sharing the triumph with you all!

Lots of love,

Tricia
